Bedroom Design

A friend of mine asked for some help in choosing bedding for her bedroom and for good resources of bedding. She has sent me some of her choices over the past few months, and recently sent me these:

She really liked the yellow and gray option, but it was sold out. Through all the options she has sent me, I have noticed that she gravitates towards gray and yellow combinations, and she also likes turquoise. I decided to put together a few inspiration boards for her. Let me know what you think.

Lately I am in to solid coverlets or duvets with patterned pillows and/or a patterned blanket or duvet at the foot of the bed. Here are some of the places I always check when looking for bedding:

*West Elm
*Z Gallerie
*Crate and Barrel
Dillards
Macys
*Pottery Barn
*William Sonoma
Layla Grace
Serena and Lily
Overstock.com
Jonathan Adler
HSN
Urband Outfitters
Anthropologie
Target
Ballard Designs
Burke Decor
Horchow
Dwell Studio
Homegoods
TJ Maxx
Bed Bath and Beyond
IKEA
Amazon
Etsy
It is also good to check fabric stores and have a duvet made.

*These are my go tos for solid neutrals.

I always search Etsy for throw pillows. You can find a great assortment, and they are almost always less expensive than home boutiques and stores.

I hope this helps anyone that is in the search for bedding. Let me know if you have any great resources!
