Well, hello! We've been waiting for your arrival...
Come on in and make yourself at home and check out all the Christmas sparkle we've added....
If you notice straight ahead is the entry table decked out in lime green, pink, and silver to coordinate with the adjacent dining room.
Here is an apothecary jar filled with fake snow and ornaments, a large lime green ornament, and mercury glass vase with added sparkle.
On the other side of the table is a glittered pink tree with small silver balls, a candle holder with another large green ornament, and a mercury glass candle.
Ok, stop looking at yourself in the mirror; you look great...it's time to mingle into the dining room on your right
We'll get you a drink in a minute; take a look at our tree first...
We continued with the pink and lime green color scheme of the room and loaded this tree with sparkly picks, ornaments, and ribbon.
My you're a nosy one....it's a secret; I can't tell you who they are for :)
Grab yourself a glass and
Don't forget to check out the three trees next to the tower.
Now that you have your glass of wine, step over to the sideboard and take a look at this vignette.
Don't you just love the flocked garland? I do! This is a large vase with fake snow and silver, glittered branches. I added lime green and pink small ornaments to the branches, and placed a tree and pink reindeer around the vase.
Now let me show you where we'll be dining later, after cocktails and mingling...
Sure, you may pick which place setting will be yours...
Let's head into the kitchen and grab some snacks before they're all gone.
Go ahead and take a look at the centerpiece on the island, and if you knock some balls off, no problem. Jett has knocked them off at least
Oh, you like the peacock tree? Well, let me tell you about it...
All of the peacock ornaments have been collected over the past few years and several were very special gifts. The one on the top is the newest addition:
Next to the tree is a large reindeer surrounded by flocked greenery and a vase with glittered peacock feathers. Around the vase is a glittered bird and mercury glass vase with ornament on top.
I'm glad you noticed the Santa salt and pepper shakers; they were a Christmas gift from my parents...you have to have a least one Santa!
This tray is a gift from a very dear friend:
How many cocktails have you had? You may want to grab a candy cane! You'll find them in an apothecary jar next to a Christmas carol book from the NYC MET by the refrigerator.
On the counter by the back door is a beautiful poinsettia, and don't you love the silver bucket it is in? Especially the reindeer handles...
I don't think we should go outside (it's raining, remember), but we can look out through the real wreath we hung on the door.
No it didn't come with the "H". That is the cake topper from our wedding; I was thrilled to find a way to incorporate it into our decor.
Before you take a seat in the family room, look at the Christmas tree that is decorated in white, silver, and gold.
Yes, I love peacocks (even white ones); you're so observant :)
These ornaments remind me of jewelry:
No, I can't tell you who these presents are for either.
You will find more gold, silver, and white sparkle on the mantel:
Take a closer look:
Don't forget the little decorations on the side tables:
No, the garland does not interfere with the remote control signal; you can still change the channel. Ask Jett, he was concerned too :)
Don't forget the nativity scene. This is a Willow Tree set that we received as a very special gift.
If you need to freshen up, the powder room is right around the corner. You can see the cute little Christmas tree:
Sure, you can use the decorative towel:
Its that time already? Time flies when you're having fun! You'll see the red, wooden wreaths as you walk through the hallway towards to the door:
Oh no, wrong way. The door is the other way...
You can see that the stairs are wrapped in garland and lights. I ran silver beading through the garland as well, and added silver ornaments.
Well, I hope you had a good time. You'll have to come back for another visit some time :)
