Happy Thanksgiving week! I am so glad this is a short week because I had a very fun and busy weekend. I actually learned a few things too! 1) I should stick to heels because flats are not that comfortable. 2) I say, "I'm just saying." a lot (thanks Mom for pointing that out). 3) I have a problem and go a little overboard with buying Christmas decor (shhh....don't tell Jett).
We went to A Christmas Affair on Saturday, and I went crazy at one of the Christmas decor booths; in my defense....they had some of the cutest picks that I have ever seen :)
I started decorating our big tree last night (shhh....don't tell Oma) because I will be back home the entire Thanksgiving break, and I want to enjoy all the sparkly decor for as long as I possibly can. I am decorating the dining room and seating area, which is where the big tree is in dark pink, lime green, and silver to match the decor of the room. Here is a sneak peak:
One of my favorite ways to decorate for Christmas is to follow with the color scheme of your home's decor. Get a little creative and try different colors than the traditional green and red. Even if you want to stick with the traditional red, add lime green instead of the typical Christmas green. Here are a few other trees decorated in different colors.
